Denmark’s contribution to EXPO 2010 has been developed by BIG (architecture), 2+1 Ideas Agency (exhibition and branding) and Arup (engineering) and are all affiliated to the EXPO secretariat, The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, in an advisory capacity during the further development and completion of the project.

BIG
BIG is an architecture firm consisting of creative architects, designers and thinkers who operate in the space between architecture, urbanism, research and development. Today, the firm consists of 60 architects, engineers and designers and is involved with a number of large building projects in Scandinavia, the Middle East and Asia.

BIG has in but a few years earnt an excellent reputation by creating pragmatic and innovate buildings with an understanding of costs and resources. BIG pays special consideration to the context and the specific needs and demands of the individual project.

2+1 Ideas Agency
2+1 specializes in branding and experience design. 2+1’s projects range from strategic branding to place branding and development of visual identities, marketing and spatial brand experiences such as exhibitions and interior design.

2+1 is involved in projects in Denmark and in Shanghai and Hong Kong. For 2+1, EXPO 2010 will be their second consecutive Danish EXPO pavilion as part of the adviser team. 2+1’s clients include Fritz Hansen, Velux, Wonderful Copenhagen, The City of Copenhagen and The Consulate General of Denmark, Shanghai.
