Welfairytales on display in Shanghai

Visitors can now catch a glimpse of new inspirational stories told by Hans Christian Andersen’s native country as a week-long exhibition opened in the Exhibition Center of World EXPO Shanghai, China, Third floor, Hong Kong New World Tower on Monday 23 November.
The Danish ambassador to China Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen opened the exhibition that introduces visitors to the concept of the Danish pavilion, Welfairytales, and its way of presenting new images, new ideas and new knowledge related to how Denmark creates sustainable cities with a high quality of life, thus underlining the EXPO theme ‘Better City, Better Life’.
The Danish ambassador also revealed a special Expo city bike that is to be used inside the pavilion as visitors can chose to bike through the exhibition. The city bike is typical for Denmark and it is a symbol of healthy lifestyle and sustainable urban development.
The exhibition ends on Saturday 28 November.
