Nordic EXPO promotion in Beijing

The Nordic countries recently joined forced in Beijing to promote their participation in EXPO 2010. Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Island held a joint event and press conference on 13 January where the Nordic Commissioner Generals presented the special features and key messages in their pavilions. From Denmark, Commissioner General Christopher Bo Bramsen was present.
The Norwegian minister of Trade and Industry, Trond Giske, was also in Beijing and gave a speech where he talked about the good relationship between the Nordic countries and China.
A number of joint Nordic EXPO events are planned to strengthen and brand the Nordic countries. Among those will be a special Nordic day on 25 June dedicated to climate changes and energy.
